2 Peter 1:3-5
3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge ...
~> Faith is the foundation of godly character.
~> Until, I believe that God is who He says He is, and that He can and will do what He says He will do, I will never consistently choose goodnesss (moral excellence).
~> Faith is living in such a way that God is the greatest reality in my life. His voice is louder than any other contradicting temptation. When there is a choice to be made, I choose Him, His way, believing that He sees what is done in secret and rewards what nobody else even knows.
