In Favor of Church and Christmas

So the big debate in our house this weekend is which church service(s) are we going to in celebration of Christmas, and what it really boils down to is how many times do we want to take time away from our football watching, pickle eating, baking, present opening, staring at each other schedules to get dressed up and presentable and drive the 10 minutes down the road to light candles and sing carols. For the record, I'm in favor of church services to celebrate Christmas, and I'm disappointed in the lack of enthusiasm I sense from my family regarding this matter. I've refrained from jumping on my soapbox about this one this year, but really?!

O c'mon! You wanna say something so go for it! The whole "Santa thing" takes around 20 minutes to be done.
I think I came to the sad realization that Christmas has become sickingly commercialized. =/
It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to read the Christmas story and sing a few Christmas songs...that is as long as I have my X-Box 360 =P

Christmas has become "sickingly commercialized" indeed. There is very little peace on earth to be found at the stores, I'll tell you that. Every church that claims Chirst as Lord and Savior should be having Christmas services in the morning! For those that are not having services...well, that is just sad.
