Musician's Challenge

There's a song with lyrics that I love, but I can't find a version of it that I want to hear more than about once a week. (And, I've told you how much I love the "repeat" button!) So, I need you to go to iTunes, find the song "Let It Be Said of Us" and record it in a way that people will actually want to sing it. That is all.

Let it be said of us
That the Lord was our passion,
That with gladness we bore
Ev'ry cross we were given;

That we fought the good fight,
That we finished the course.
Knowing within us
the pow'r of the risen Lord.

Let the Cross be our glory
And the Lord be our song.
By mercy made holy
By the Spirit made strong.

Let the Cross be our glory
And the Lord be our song.
'Till the likeness of Jesus
Be thru us made known.

Let it be said of us:
We were marked by forgiveness.
We were known by our love,
And delighted in meekness.

We were ruled by His peace,
Heeding unity's call;
Joined as one body
that Christ would be seen by all.

Oh yeah, the original was written by Steve Fry.

Yep, Joanna's nickname is "shufflebutton" and yours should be "repeat," with the way you get songs stuck in your head and sing them. Of course, I'm not complaining. I've learned some great songs from you that way.

I've never heard this song. I'll have to check it out.
