Thirty for 30!: Make Spaghetti

Earlier this year, my friends and I were presented with an opportunity to help a friend of a friend. We'd heard that Nina had been called to go on a mission trip but was struggling to come up with funds. It didn't take us long to decide that our weekly dinner together could easily become a fundraiser. By splitting up the cost of purchasing a few ingredients and getting creative with some advertising, we pulled together a happy little opportunity to bless someone we didn't know, believing that God would multiply our efforts. Did He ever! We raised significantly more than we would have believed we could, and while on her trip, our new friend sensed the call of God on her life to further mission endeavors. And, we had a blast making it happen! Never underestimate the power of spaghetti!
