I heard this today, and I was immediately fascinated by the thought, “What does it look like to live like that?” Am I living like God is sovereign over all things and He loves me deeply as His daughter?
The combination of realities is so poignant. God’s sovereignty all by itself can be terrifying, often leaving me feeling helpless and confused. But God’s sovereignty combined with his prodigious love toward me? That takes my breath away. That soothes every ache and calms every fear. That is the very best kind of news. It changes everything.
